Ghanshyam Thakkar (Oasis Thacker) has achieved excellence in Poetry and Music. His poems have been published in top periodicals of Gujarati Literature like Kumar, Kavita, Kavilok, Navnit, Samarpan, Navnit-Samarpan, Parab, Kruti, Milap, Vishvamanav, and Vaishakhi. Shri Umashankar Joshi has written the foreword for his book 'Bhuri Shahina Kuva Kanthe' and Shri Labhshankar Thaker has done the same for 'Jambudi KshanaNa Prashna Padare'. His music albums 'AsopalavNi Daale' and 'O Raaj Re' have been very successful. Top rated film singers like Nisha Upadhyay, Kishore Manaraja, Neha Mehta, Damayanti Bardai, Jayashree Bhojavia, and Devyani have been the singers for his albums. He has released international instrumental music album 'DewDrops on The Oasis. He also has released a CD-Book of poetry 'Bhuri Shahina Khalkhal'.
